The 2011 Celebration of Light was a complete success and brand.LIVE is already excited to start planning for next year. This year was unique as there were so many additions to the evening. 

Red Bull’s aerobatic pilot, Pete Mcleod started off two of the evenings with an exciting air show. He was also present in the Vendor Village for signing before his second performance on the night of Spain. 

The Vendor Village was also a great addition this year as it attracted even more people down to the English Bay and Sunset Beach area. Car2Go, Mogo, Concord Pacific, Wag Jag, Encorp, Nintendo, Worksafe, TELUS, Live at Squamish, Red Bull, the Pink Bus Tour and the Canadian Cancer Society all activated in these areas. 

The barge was moved 200 feet closer to the shore this year to make it an even more exciting show for the crowds.

China, Spain, and Canada all put on fantastic shows, but this year China took the Championship!

The Celebration of Light could not be put on each year if it weren’t for the incredible support of the community and sponsors.
